New Members of the Team
GV Hawaii is proud to introduce Michael Hunter, new head
teacher and Allison Smith, bookkeeper.
Michael was born and raised in rural Appalachia
(Athens,Ohio) He earned his BSJ degree in Journalism, BA
in French, MA in in Political Science and MA in Applied Linguistics
(TESOL) from Ohio Univ. He has taught English in the Near
East (Jordan) and Asia (Japan) over the last 7 years. He
is a great addition to the GV Hawaii Academic Department
and will help us maintain and even expand our academic excellence.
Allison has lived in Hawaii for 3 years.
She had the opportunity to live in Caracas, Venezuela for
2 years and became fluent in Spanish. She loves to dance.
One of her greatest experiences here in Hawaii has been dancing
Hula and Tahitian at the Polynesian Cultural Centre. She
will be working with international agencies from time to
time.
