English + Surfing at Bondi Beach
"The English + Surfing course was the perfect way
for me to improve my English and try a new sport. I like
sport and I wanted to do surfing because it is typical
of Australia. I had my lessons at Bondi Beach, and it is
beautiful there. The lessons were taught in English and
so this also helped me to improve. I had school in the
mornings and then used the afternoons for surfing. I really
enjoyed it and now I can stand up on the board! After I
finish at GV Sydney (UEC) I will go back to Japan and
buy a surfboard and look for places in my country to continue
practicing!"

Cambridge Preparation Classes – Excellent
Nationality Mix!
We have just started our Cambridge Preparation classes
for March we have an excellent nationality mix with students
from Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Brazil, Mexico, Japan and Korea!
Popular New Option Class – Common Mistakes in
English
Common
Mistakes in English is proving to be a very popular afternoon
option with our students. This course is designed for students
who wish to become more accurate in both their spoken and
written English. We study confusing grammar structures, such
as verb patterns e.g. I stopped listening or I stopped to listen,
as well as words that are often confused such as remember/remind,
practice/practise, check/control etc.

End of Daylight Saving
Please note that Daylight Saving has ended in Sydney on
Sunday, 2 April. At this time we turned
our clocks back by 1 hour so that, for example, 10:00am became
9:00am. |
