Spring is traditionally the time for a breath of fresh air and
a time to freshen up! Global Village Toronto has just completed
a renovation of the 2nd floor lounge, just in time for the busy
summer season.
Workmen have been busy updating and changing things around
the school. They have been painting on the second and third
floors, laying new carpet and delivering new furniture for
the lounge and some of our classrooms. New art work has been
hung in the lounge and many of our classrooms. Couches have
been moved to the 3rd floor lounge as well.
The 2nd floor lounge is a such popular place for students
to hang out that new tables and chairs have been added to give
the students more seating at breaks, lunch and after school.
They can play pool, surf the net or chat with their friends
in the open concept computer lab or tune in to FIFA World Cup
matches or the latest videos on the TV.
In fact, we find that the students don’t want to leave
school at the end of the day! |
