Homestay Accommodation
GV Noosa is very proud of offering some of the best homestay
accommodation in Australia. Most homestays are within a very
easy commute to school, and many more are within a short
stroll to some of Australia's most beautiful beaches.
From
January 2007, we will be providing an increased range of
homestay accommodation options. These will include (all prices
are 2007 prices):
Single Homestay. Single placement
with an Australian family. Most homestays are
within a small distance of the school, and many placements
are available close to the beach. We can generally meet
most homestay requests given enough notice... please just
ask! All homestays include 3 meals per day, 7 days per
week. - $210/week
Share
Homestay. Offered on a room share basis.
This will be offered for couples, two students travelling
together, or, where available, for students travelling independently.
Conditions will otherwise be the same as per single homestay.
$180/week
Junior Homestay. As per single homestay,
but offered to students under 18 years of age. - $220/week
Executive
Homestay.
Executive Homestay offers accommodation with a private bathroom (usually an ensuite)
and a generally higher standard than a normal homestay. Many Executive Homestays
have swimming pools and are generally closer to either the beach or the school
than other homestays. - $230/week
Teacher's Homestay.
Teacher's Homestays provide accommodation as per Single Homestay, but has the
addition of 15 hours per week of English tuition from a qualified ESL teacher.
Students taking Teacher's Homestay are invited to join the school's regular
activity program in addition to their private tuition. Single $1,200/week,
Double Single Room - $990/week, Double share room $890/week
