Teen Activity Program - A global experience

This year Sydney's Teen Activity Program (TAP) is proving to be bigger and better than ever with a record number of students and 11 nationalities represented. This years student's come from Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Russia, Vietnam, China, Laos, Polynesia, Hong Kong and France!

The students have joined our High School Preparation students to improve their English and have some fun. They are exploring Sydney, cooking Australian food, playing sport and making friends from across the world. All of this while learning English. There is a fantastic atmosphere and the teachers are really enjoying being part of it.

"I studied General English at UEC (GV Sydney) for 4 weeks because I wanted to improve my speaking skills and my general confidence in using English. I chose UEC because it was the college I felt most comfortable in when I was visiting schools. I enjoyed my classes and especially practising my speaking in an English only environment. I also liked the social activity program, especially the opportunity to go horse-riding near the Royal National Park. Sydney is a great place and I have loved visiting so many wonderful places and the shopping! After my course finishes I am going to have 3 weeks' holiday in Sydney before returning to my university in Oman."
