Study Block 9 marks the start of another Cambridge
session at Global Village Toronto (photo). These programs are
traditionally taken by largely European students, but lately
more and more Korean and Japanese students are signing up for
the First Certificate and the Advanced Certificate Preparation
courses. These exams are recognized worldwide by international
companies and it's a great thing for students to add to a résumé.
With a high success rate, these intensive programs prepare students for
their exams in all five skill areas – speaking,
listening, reading, writing and use of English (grammar).
Our most experienced and versatile teachers lead these
classes, averaging at least 6 years of teaching at Global
Village Toronto alone. Students do several practice tests
and an authentic Cambridge mock exam before sitting their
official exams right here at GV Toronto, as we are an official
test centre.
If students are looking for something a little
different than General English – these are the courses
to take. Cambridge runs three times per year in Toronto.
In 2007 the dates are:
- January 8 – March 9 (9 weeks)
- March 19 – June
8 (8 weeks or 12 weeks)
- September 17 – December
