What a view!

GV Brisbane students recently visited popular tourist attraction, Mt Coot-tha Lookout. The lookout offers visitors and locals alike the best and most uninterrupted views of Brisbane and the surrounding suburbs, as well as spectacular glimpses of mountain ranges and Moreton Bay.

The views also make for a brilliant backdrop for Wedding photos and the ideal romantic setting for a marriage proposal. Mt Coot-tha Lookout is a must for any visitor to Brisbane.

New Student Club – Balloon Animal Making

We recently introduced a new student club which proved hugely popular, with both students and teachers alike. Balloon Animal Making! Yes, we all had great fun trying to bend, turn and twist our balloons into shapes which resembled animals.

Teacher, Sean led the class and made it look all so easy, until we had a go, and realized just how tricky it was. While our balloons may not quite have looked like animals, the students did make some very colourful balloon hats and flowers.

Students have requested that this popular activity be a regular edition to our Afternoon Activities program in 2007.

Start Dates For January 2007

January will be a busy month at GV Brisbane with a number of courses commencing. To start the New Year, we have our Cambridge Preparation Course (FCE) starting on Tuesday 2nd January. The following week, our 12 week IELTS Preparation Course and our 4 week English for TESOL Course, both commence on Monday 8th January. We are still accepting students for all three of these courses.

School Closed For Public Holidays

GV Brisbane will only be closed for the public holidays during the Christmas and New Years period. We will close for 4 days from the afternoon of Friday 22nd December and will reopen on Wednesday 27th December. We will also be closed on Monday 1st January, for the New Years Day Public Holiday.
