"My name is Chang Hee Moon, my English name is Jack. I'm from South Korea; I'm 25 years old. I started at GV Brisbane in Pre Intermediate where I studied for 3 months but now I've just graduated from the Cambridge FCE Course.
At first, I was nervous and embarrassed because I couldn't understand or speak English well. Also studying in Australia was a different experience for me. But as time went by, I got used to English and studying because my teachers and home stay family encouraged me. Now I can express myself in English easily and feel confident with foreign people. English For Academic Purposes
Our first 8-week English For Academic Purposes Course for 2007 commences from Monday 12th February. The course is designed to prepare students for further study at a Vocational level. The EAP Course will develop students' language and study skills essential for success in this environment. Importantly, there are no formal examinations, as this course is all competency based.
GV Brisbane has articulation agreements with various vocational providers. After successful completion of our EAP Program, students can gain direct entry into courses offered by our various pathway partners. For more information about our EAP Program or Articulation Agreements, please contact us. |

Congratulations to our IELTS Students
The IELTS Results are out and it's all good news for GV Brisbane students. Big congratulations to GV Brisbane IELTS Course Graduate, Juan, who achieved an IELTS score of 7.5 in the test. Excellent results were also achieved by students Lina and Eriko, who both achieved IELTS scores of 6.5. Well done all!
The IELTS Preparation Course is seeing many of our students go on to achieve fantastic results in the Test, just like Juan, Lina and Eriko. Our next IELTS Preparation Course commences on the 12th February and is a 7 week program. |
