IELTS Preparation Program Launched
Our new IELTS Exam Preparation program started on 2 January with a good mix of students from Switzerland, Czech Republic, Japan and Korea. The program offers quality curriculum and teachers, with IELTS examiners on staff. It is designed to fully prepare students taking the General Training Module of the IELTS examination by providing regular test practice under exam conditions to help students maximize their score.
The program also offers excellent flexibility and can be studied full-time, or part-time in the evenings and Saturdays. The full-time program runs for 4, 8 and 12 weeks with intakes every 4 weeks. The part-time program is held in the evenings and on Saturdays – students can choose to concentrate on just one section of the exam 1 night per week (Writing, Reading, or Listening & Speaking) or study all sections of the exam. |

English + Work Student – Pierre from France
"I chose the English + Work program because it allowed me to study English, discover Sydney and provided a guaranteed job offer.
As part of the Work Package, I was given assistance with preparing my CV, presented with several job possibilities and was offered a sales position at Foxtel. During my employment with Foxtel, I have gained valuable sales experience and improved my communication skills at the same time! This was an excellent opportunity as I gained skills that will help me with my future study and career prospects when I return to France to study at a business school."

Australian Culture Weekend
Our December trip was to the beautiful Bateman's Bay and included the opportunity to explore Aboriginal culture and life in early Australia at Old Mogo Town. The weekend started with Australian bush dancing lessons and a party. The following day was action packed with a tour of the gold rush village, gold panning lessons and Aboriginal culture that included a "bush tucker" tour, boomerang and didgeridoo lessons. The day ended with a BBQ and some dreamtime stories from our Aboriginal guide. On the way back to Sydney we stopped at Hyam's beach, famous for having the whitest sand in the world, lunch at Kiama and a visit to the famous blowhole. |
