Greetings from the Student Services Team
"Hi name is Robyn and I am the Student Services Coordinator at GV Brisbane. I love my job as every week I get to meet students from all over the world and hopefully I help to make their stay in Australia more enjoyable. Brisbane is a great study destination. It's both affordable and very safe for students, and for those looking to work whilst they study, there are plenty of job opportunities.
At Student Services we help students with Visa Extensions and obtaining permission to work, applying for tax file numbers, opening bank account, preparing resumes and job applications, medibank enquiries, looking for accommodation and planning travel. And there is always someone to practice your English with! The student services team includes Keiko who is from Japan, Johana from Colombia and me. If you need assistance with anything during your stay at GV Brisbane, please come and see us. We are here to help!"

St Patrick's Day comes to GV
We recently celebrated St Patrick's Day, as GV Brisbane embraced all things Irish and green. Students donned green shirts, hats and even headbands and learnt about Irish limericks, Jigs, Stew, Music, Sport and even the famous Guinness Beer.
And of course it wouldn't have been St Patrick's Day without a visit from a little Irish Leprechaun. |

We've been Renovating!
Over the last few months, we have been doing some major renovations and upgrades at GV Brisbane. These include:
- All classrooms and halls have been repainted
- Reception has been renovated with a brand new big screen monitor installed to display school news, upcoming courses, activities and school photos
- More computers have been installed, including some in the classrooms
- We now have high speed internet access
- The student lounge has been fitted out with more microwaves, a refrigerator and (the students' favourite)… a Karaoke system!
