Perla's Magical Experience
Hello! I am Perla Cauazos from Monterrey, Mexico. I am 25 years old, and I am a Graphic Designer. Fortunately I have a job in my country, in a very good company "CEMEX" which has produced cement for a 100 years to construct buildings, houses, etc. CEMEX is present in more than 50 countries around the world with more than 50,000 employees. In my job I have a lot of contact with many countries in Europe for example: France, Ireland, England, Germany and Poland. For this reason I need to know English, speak English and understand English perfectly.

I decided to study here in Victoria, because is a beautiful city, warm, small, and my school "Global Village" is a perfect school. It is more personal, and has excellent teachers! Also you have so many options to practise your English in many activities inside and outside of the school. I enjoy really my classes, because everyday you have different exercises, games, and the system is very attractive, because each month you can check to see if your English is better. I like my classes a lot, because I can meet a lot of people of so many different countries and learn about other cultures and other styles of life and at the same time I can learn English!
Victoria is very exciting. In my case, the most exciting activity that I have done is show my magic tricks to the people, really! With cards, ropes, coins, and also with rabbits! It's very fun, and I can practice my speaking, listening, pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary. It is a very good exercise for me and I think that the people enjoy this with me. English is the key for the future. You can also learn English like me in little time, only you need to want to learn, not only wish to learn. |
