Teen Activity Program
The Teen Activity Program for the summer in Toronto is popular once again this year. Registrations for this program are coming in fast for this fun and exciting program running in July and August.
Held at the Sidney Smith Building at the University of Toronto, teenaged students from all over the world will study English in the morning from 9 am – 12 pm and then take part in fabulous activities in the afternoons, evenings and/or weekends.

Showcasing the best that Toronto has to offer, the groups, along with Native English-speaking monitors, will take in the sights of the city.
Activities this year include: indoor rock climbing, the CN Tower, a day trip to Niagara Falls, paintball, a baseball game, dinner at the Hard Rock Café, a day trip to Canada’s Wonderland, a disco night, and an afternoon at the beach.

With over 60 students already registered for the July session from 10 different countries (including Brazil, French Canada, Germany, Japan, Turkey, France, Mexico and Spain) students are sure to make some great new friends and take home memories that will last a lifetime.
This program includes: 15 hours of ESL studies per week, classroom materials, all activities, full-board Homestay (3 meals per day), and airport transfers both ways. |
TESL Program
The next TESL program at Global Village Toronto will start on July 3rd. The 8-week course has been designed for non-native speakers and includes the Cambridge University Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT), 10 hours of teacher observation and a 10-hour supervised practicum at the end of the course.
This course covers Methodology (second language instruction, teaching principles, classroom procedures and techniques), Language Awareness (including an overview of English grammar and pronunciation), and TKT preparation.
Students will sit all 3 modules of the TKT including:
- Language and background to language learning and teaching;
- Lesson planning and use of resources, and
- Managing the teaching and learning process.
