English Only Survey
In order to better understand how students feel about the school's English Only policy, a school-wide survey is currently being undertaken and any feedback will be used to update and refine the policy, which is a cornerstone of the commitment to ensuring the school remains the ideal environment for improving students' spoken English both inside and outside the classroom.
However, although English Only is actively promoted, counselling for students with specific issues is available in Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese if required. |

New Hospitality Option
A newly-revised and improved hospitality option started this month to fantastic feedback from students - the programme benefits significantly from the first-hand hospitality industry experience of teacher Phil, who really brings the content to life with genuine first-hand examples and ideas.
This popular option is the perfect preparation for those students who are entitled to take advantage of the many part-time job opportunities in Brisbane's booming hospitality industry. |

Afternoon Intermediate Class
Something else that is getting great reviews from students at GV Brisbane is the afternoon intermediate level class, which has a great nationality mix, a maximum of 12 students and is taught by Nick, one of the most popular teachers in the school. |

Coming Up...
Activities for June include trips to the beaches of the Gold Coast, the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains, Australia Zoo to see koalas, kangaroos and crocs, and a trip up to beautiful Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, location of GV’s other Queensland school. |
