Of course, we are also sad to announce the departure of Eric Lum. Through many years of dedication and hard work, Eric has helped GV Hawaii to provide wonderful accommodation options for our students. Students, faculty, and staff alike will all remember Eric for his ability to listen, assist those in need, and for his positive attitude! |

Would you jump from a perfectly good airplane?
Our Activities Coordinator, Philip Thurston, found quite a few students who did just that! Some very brave GV Hawaii students went skydiving twice in the month of May while other students decided to give parasailing a try.
For those who are a bit less adventurous, weekly ukulele lessons with Nick Sierra (a student of Hawaii's own Jake Shimabukuro) and international soccer matches every Thursday have become great activity options. With a wide variety of available activities at GV Hawaii, students are able to experience the island of Oahu in unique ways while improving their English! |

First day at school - Reminder to students
The first day of school is always exciting--touring the campus, meeting your classmates, and getting a preview of what you'll be learning. It's so easy to forget the minor details. Please remind all students studying in the U.S. that they need to bring their passport, I-94 (stapled in the passport upon entry into the U.S.), and I-20 form (if entering on an F-1 Student Visa) with them on their first day at GV Hawaii.
