GV Noosa (Caloundra Campus) Introduces Barista / Bartending Course
In conjunction with CADET International College, GV Noosa (Caloundra Campus) is offering a new 5 week Barista/Bar Tending course. The program is designed to move students on working holiday and student visas into hospitality industry jobs on the Sunshine Coast or elsewhere in Australia. Students can combine the 5 week course with any length of English course
The course consists of 7 units of study:
- Prepare and Serve Cocktails
- Operate a Bar
- Work with Colleagues & Customers
- Health, Safety & Security Procedures
- Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures
- Prepare & Serve Espresso Coffee
- Responsible Service of Alcohol

Although Australia is better known as a rugby playing country, at GV Noosa is definitely soccer-crazy.On Wednesday each week we have student teams play in an outdoor competition,while each Thursday afternoon the very competitive Staff v Student 5-a-side indoor competition takes place |

(followed by lots of drinks at the Koala Bar!). Each week we have players from countries as diverse as Brazil, Colombia, Italy, Korea, Taiwan, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Spain and Russia. With a staff team with teachers from English, Ireland, America and Australia, it really is a World Cup every week.
