Teens Enjoy GV Victoria Summer Activities Program

Our Teen Activity Program got off to a good start this year with a group of international teens at GV Victoria. The program combines ESL classes and a whole range of interesting activities which included cultural visits to the BC Museum and Craigdarroch Castle, relaxing at the beach and the famous Butchart Gardens firework display, cycling and ocean kayaking for the sports fans, a hike in a rain forest and a ride around Victoria in a horse carriage. Shopping in the nearby malls proved to be very popular, too.

All the teens stayed with Victoria families so they could experience at first hand the life of a young person in Canada. The teens made new friends to practice their English skills with, and experienced a different culture.

Victoria provides an ideal environment for younger students: the town is small and safe and it is easy to get around. We are on the sea and have some great beaches, and the glorious scenery of Vancouver Island is on our doorstep.
